Drigh Lake’s status as a Ramsar site and our conservation
efforts have attracted international attention. Over the years,
Drigh Lake has been visited by global leaders and dignitaries,
including King George V and Queen Mary of England, Yasir
Arafat, Raza Shah Pehlwi, Hafiz al-Asad, Muammar Qaddafi,
Queen Elizabeth II, Shaikh Zahid, and King Hussein. These visits
underscore the global significance of our work and the
recognition of our contributions to environmental stewardship.
